The Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign is a Las Vegas landmark funded in May 1959 and erected soon after by Western Neon. The sign was designed by Betty Willis at the request of Ted Rogich, a local salesman, who sold it to Clark County, Nevada.

he Westgate Resort & Casino (formerly The International Hotel, Las Vegas Hilton & former LVH-Las Vegas Hotel & Casino) is a casino and hotel in Las Vegas and is located in the north of the Las Vegas Strip . It is operated by Westgate Resorts. The Westgate has 2956 rooms and 305 suites. Next to the hotel complex there is a 19,000 m² congress center.  More

The Las Vegas Monorail stops at the hotel. The hotel is mentioned exclusively at the end of the film ” Over the Top (from 1987) “. This hotel is also the setting for the 1971 Bond film Diamonds Are Forever with Sean ConneryOn February 10, 1981, there was a fire in the hotel, which killed 8 people.
